Error `Running the application...` (Return Code:1013)Failed to launch the widget

When a project run as Tizen web application get an error:

'Running the application... > Fail
Error occurred at the below step.
 `Running the application...`
 (Return Code:1013)Failed to launch the widget'

Any suggestions to solve this?

Hello,

There is not enough information to analyze the problem. 

A similar error occurs with all web projects, or only with a specific project?

Hi,

All samples Web Project the same problem occurs, native projects work.

The application icon appears in the emulator and followed the error happens, when the icon is pressed nothing happens.

I solved this adding in the emulator the option for the GPU mode "on".

I have the same error, however my GPU is already ON.

When i am running the project following error is comming:-

Running the application... > Fail
Error occurred at the below step.
 `Running the application...`

I spent whole day but i dint get the solution please give the appropriate solution.

Hi,

I faced similar issue before. I remember that such issue was gone by switching the workspace and import it again.

Can you try this step?

 SDK > File > Switch Workspace > Create other folder> make new project > Build

Hi daniel kim,

 

I switch the workspace and create new one and then again i create sample wearable project(calender) but still the same error is coming.

In console following error is showing:-

[Uploading RDS information to target...]
[Running the application...]
Unexpected stop progress...

and in popup:-

Running the application... > Fail
Error occurred at the below step.
 `Running the application...`
 (Return Code:1013)Failed to launch the widget

Please give me the solution.

I fixed it by going to window/preferences/launch/check xwalk commands and press reset to default.

still its not launching, on 61%  its getting stuck and on console following error is coming:-

Hi,

Do you observe this problem after updating the SDK(from 2.2.1 to 2.3)?

Then I would recommend you to delete old tizen-sdk folder and workspace itself and install sdk again..

Hi,

I observed exactly same issue today.

If I turn on the GPU of emulator, this error 1013 message is gone.

And there is no option in IDE of Win 7 version. I guess that this option is existed in IDE of Ubuntu version.

          /window/preferences/launch/check xwalk

I also encounter this issue today, I am update the SDK from 2.2 to 2.3. But not reboot the PC. I've got a issue that's i cant unlock the emulator screen. When I turn the GPU off, this problem resolved, but i got the same issue(Error `Running the application...` (Return Code:1013)Failed to launch the widget).

But whan I turn the GPU on, and reboot the PC, these two issue are gone(1. cant unblock the emulator screen; 2. 1013 running issue).
