Tizen 2.4.0 SDK backward compatibility

Can you please confirm that Tizen 2.4.0 SDK is not backwards compatible with Tizen 2.3.x devices as mentioned in the preview release notes and whether that will be the case for the official release of 2.4.0 SDK  as well ?

2.4.0 is just a beta, currently nobody can any say about the future ... On web applications you have a jquery plugin "2.3-backward.js". U can use it to support new ui widgets on 2.3 devices.

Hi,
afaik 2.4b targeted on Z3 device (supported some features unable for Z1)
If you want develop for Z3 better migrate to 2.4.0b (but you could work with Z1 from this SDK too), in other case (for Z1) 2.3.1 should be enough.
