Install SDK using installer on Windows 8 x64

Hello,

I am running Windows 8 x64 using Java SDK 7 update 21 x64. I've downloaded the Tizen SDK installer but when I try to run it, I get this error:

"Cannot execute Java even if it was installed. Check environment variables or Java version(over 1.6) please"

Does anyone know if there's something I can do to make the installer work?

Thanks & regards

if you have installed windows 64 7 or 8 and have this message for sure you have installd java x86 and you sould uninstall it and install x64 one

go to c->program files x86 ->java

and if you find any files inside this folder you must uninstall it because it mean you have 86 verion on your pc.

this is 100% solved

What worked for me was to look at the install windows and note where it had extracted the installer before it failed to execute it. In my case that was

C:\Users\<my_username>\AppData\Local\Temp\tizensdk_20140920080549

I changed directory to there and ran the InstallManager.jar by right clicking on it and selecting 'open'. I have not tried using the sdk yet, but the installer did run without errors.
