GPS support

Hi,

I heard that GPS is not supported becuse some license limitation. Is that still not available for Tizen 2.2?

I wonder is there sense to create GPS-enabled application when GPS is not supported by device and probably

app with GPS functions will be reject by Tizen Seller Office.

Did somoby use GPS in application and how does look like in Tizen Store?

Thanks.

You can test your GPS function probaly with Tizen SDK Emulator and Event Injector... I don't hear that apps will rejected if they support GPS.

Thanks Marco. I am going to test it on emulator.

in my test, i could use w3c geo location api on reference device if i set correct privilege for location. try the sample app "LocationManager" for native. (don't forget to enable location function in setting)

Yeah, GPS runs on device but doesn't show the correct position :)

I've not heard any licencing issue reg. GPS. What i remember, there was an issue for location in web apis for getting the proper location(I am not sure if that is fixed or not!). but if you run the native location manager, it works properly. I've done some testing taking the location from native location manager and passed that to my web control which hosts the google map view.
