Hi,

Having doubt on smack rule vs manifest file.

1) Smack rule will be created in the pattern of "subject, object and rule"

example: svc xorg rwxat

2) In manifest file,

<smack request="System" type="w" /> 
<smack request="Camera::statistics" type="rw" />

i) what is the difference between both smacks?

ii) where to use manifest smack request and where to use smack rule request?

iii) why two ways?

Please guide me.

i) Same function.

smack manifest is provided by tizen platform

smack rule is provided by samsung

ii) generally smack manifest

iii) smack rule has more functionality to include other smack include rule file.
