It is a problem with SDB. I alerted Samsung about the issue 1 month ago. No word on when it will be resolved.

I hope this issue will be fixed in next SDK release.

Thanks David Rogers.

Also having the same issue. Does anyone know of a workaround?

Marco Buettner

did u try "sdb kill-server" and after that "sdb start-server"

Fraser Hardy

Yes tried that but still not working. I'm just installing a VM for Yosemitie now to test if it works with that as I'm stuggling to deploy to a device at the moment.

Thanks

what are the steps to kill and start sdb server.

Marco Buettner

I prefer to setup {tizen-sdk}/tools/ as PATH variable

know u can use on the terminal (linux) or command (windows)

sdb kill-server

and

sdb start-server

Hello,

Just workaround, try to use Remote Test Lab:

http://developer.samsung.com/remotetestlab/rtlDeviceList.action?tabName=tizen

Dee Gee

find a solution here

I also got same issue after upgraded from 10.10 to 10.11.1.

I think you already got this tip from other post. Anyway I share it again.

1. Go to Samsung Smart Switch site

2. Click DOWNLOAD FOR MAC

3. Install SmartSwitch4Mac_4.0.0.15092_6.dmg

4. Reboot Mac

5. Try to check connection with IDE or SDB
