remote test lab message when i try install wgt file on device

 I have wgt app 320X320 ( SDK 2.3.1) for wearable

 I try do it with different version in config file ( 2.2 2.3 2.3.1 Tizen)

I wanted test my wgt file on 480 x 360 (Gear S) Or Tizen device in RLB

Every time i have this message from device.

Install failed com.samsung.rtl.app.Install.Exception.Can't move file from....<path> to....<path>

 What is wrong?

 

 

 

 

 

installation failed with "com.samsung.rtl.app

Oh, thanx.

I thought I am alone.

This phenomenon I have with TM1 devices from Poland Server... PL1 - PL4...

I can NOT install without this message..

Strange. On Korean Server I can install and use App... but on Korean Server I have problem to navigate with Mouse...

Will check if something is fixed...

Hi Peter,

There are few possbilities for this error.

  • First possibility may be "enabled anti-virus software". Just be sure that your package is not scanned during the installation process.
  • Second possibilty may be indexer. If any indexer (such as Google Desktop or the Windows indexing service) has the file open, then you may have this issue.
  • Third possibility is running process. just be sure that your file has not been used by any process or subprocess.
  • Forth possiblity is read/write permission. Application installing needs r/w permissions on your application package.

Hello,

Did not seen a similar problem before.

Like the fact that this file is already using by another proccess. Try to restart rtl or delete previously installed.

Or contact support team.

Updated to latest JAVA...

Tried again with TM1.

Device from Poland Server have this issue...

TM1 on Korean Server can install App...

 

For Gear... device list is longer... I can see US Server...UK, PL and Korean

Try different Server... start with KR1 for instance... check if same problem...

 

Please, maybe 1 user have time to check SM-ZTM1 on Poland Server... PL1, PL2, PL3, PL4 and please report.

App is possible to install or not?

 

I will test on other PC... if my problem with Korean TM1 still persist... As I can not navigate via Mouse... No click...

I have tested my only Gear wgt 320x320 on Tizen - Poland  and SM-ZTM1  There are the same issue

 Before start to test   i updated java too.

And sdk not started anymore give some message.

Now i intall SDK 2.3.1. again and see what happen.

Hi everybody,

It seems that your problem still exists. Have you ever tried updating the time in device ? To install application, device's time/date must be up to date. Please just connect to wi-fi and be sure that "Auto-Set" is activated.

Device time has to be same with the server. That means if you connect to Poland Server, please be sure that your device's time is up to date with time in Poland.

Devices are in Korea and Poland are exactly same. That's why there shouldn't be any differences. If your issue still exists, please send us mail which includes exact device model.

I have fixed my problem yesterday, by Reboot devices in Korea... Now I can use KR2, KR3 and KR4 successfully.

Before I was not able to interact with RTL... no key nor Mouse input worked.

 

About your hint WiFi/date...

Poland Server for SM-ZTM1 devices not connected to WiFi nor I am able to connect to WiFi... Password is not more same as written in Reset WiFi...

This is main difference... Korean TM1 connected to WiFi... Poland devices not...

Short tested PL device...

Now internet4rtl connected by default...

Date settings seems okay... but same problem...

Will check second device and report.

I am glad to hear that you fixed your problem by rebooting the device which is located in Korea.

I have tested installing application and it seems that there is no any issue. I hope installing application at your side also doesn't exist anymore on Poland devices. If you have any problem, don't hesitate to contact. I will be glad to help you.

This problem is just a temporary issue. Right now it's in progress and we are fixing it. In the meantime, you may try using Korean servers to install applications on Gear S devices. Korean servers work properly.

By the way - Korean servers doesn't work for me ( wearable SM-G925F-KR2, i checked time and wi fi). I have got FATAL error 61.

But less then 5 min ago i have successful  install my test wgf file - SM-ZTM1-KR2 (Test Device (2.4) -Korea Server)

And now all Tizen devices from Poland... Z1, TM1, Wearables not visible...

No idea how long.

Poland devices are temporarily disconnected for testing purposes. When all disconnected devices pass installation test, they will be re-connected.

I can see Poland Server online again.

 

Short tested with SM-ZTM1 and install works successfully, NO error.

For wearable I am not smart enough to test... maybe Sofya Kassaye or someone else could please check and confirm.
