Installing native TPK in Gear S

Hi, I'm using the 2.3 SDK for native apps and I'm trying to run one of the samples that come with the IDE.

When I try to run them I get the following error:

processing result : MANIFEST_INVALID [12] failed

Looking around in the internet I found that the Gear S does not allow for the testing / installation of native apps. Is that right?

Hi,

As far as I know, Gear S support tinzen 2.2.1. so it doesn't allow to install tpk. but I expect that it will support it in future.

Would it be possible to update the Tinzen version currently installed in the Gear S?

Hi Fabio.

Gear S support Tizen 2.2.1 only for now and it doesn't support native application.

I'm expecting that Gear S will support Tizen 2.3 including native part as well. but I'm not sure for now and Samsung will decide it.
