Which 46 apps were rejected and why for feb inventive program

hello admin,

Can you please let us know which 44 apps were rejected so that other Tizen  developers can take informed decisions whether should continue working on a given app or not. Otherwise it's just going to waste time of many Tizen developers especially after they put in 2-3 months efforts on your platform. So please show us some respect and be a bit more transparent. What's all about this closed-door decisions and not letting the winners list explicit? You can do it. We know you can. So come on stop playing games with us.

Samsung is conducting a competition, but it is unfair to indie developers and hours we put in bringing app to Tizen. The slogan of "Win $10000 for monthly Top 100" is false.

They will never give $10,000 to monthly Top 100. Every month these pre-loaded, partner and previous months winner apps will appear in the Top 100 list. By end of September only 5-10 apps can win the $10,000 per month.

Ideally, Samsung should remove all the pre-loaded, partner and old winners from the Top-100 list. Also, if a app is not contesting in the competition why to include in the Top 100 list. But, all these kind of apps (Facebook, Whatsapp, Dailyhunt etc.) are there in initial Top-100 selected.

For example, 44-apps will be removed for prize consideration and then again all pre-loaded, partner apps, previous months apps will be removed. So, finally only 20-30 apps may be getting $10,000 for February month...

By September only 5-10 apps may get $10,000..

I think it is not false. But slogan of "Up to 1 million each month" is slightly exaggerated :)

Samsung is doing false advertising and it is going to hit it's credibility badly in the developer community. Now the discussion happening only in this forum, in some time it will start xda and other communities.

Go and check on the Appcentive website or across the internet. There is no mention of "upto 1 million in each month". It is written in Bold letters that "win $10000 for monthly Top 100 apps".

Samsung cannot include apps which are not part of the competition and deny the top 100 slot to the apps which are part of the competiion. When someone is not part of it, why include them and declare fake winners.

If competition rule says -- pre-loaded, partner, non-competing and previous months winner apps are ineligible to be part of the competition, why include them in Top 100 list in every month and deny top 100 slots for other competiting apps. It is just eye wash.

No one will invest money, compete and build apps for Tizen in any future competition, if Samsung does these kind of things.

Everymonth number of winners will go down, as all the old winners, pre-installed apps, non-competing apps, partner apps will be part of the Top 100 list. (For example, MyJio may appear every month, if they do not particiapte in the competition, as it is a user enrolment app for Jio telecom operator).

Samsung is not considering only apps participating in the competition, but every app downloaded including pre-installed app like Whatsapp and Facebook.

For example, In April list February, March winners along with non-competing 44 apps which are not awarded in February and many more from March will be part of the Top 100 list. So, winners who get $10,000 should be less than 40 apps, if same trend as February list continues.

It would be great to see the winners. My proposition to participants - please set winning apps paid to leave space for new content...
