Failed to install gear application

Hi everyone,

1- I've downloaded the FTsample source and imported the consumer android into tizen workspace .
2- I placed the .wgt given with project under assets folder and tested the app , everything works fine . 

but when I create a wearable 2.3 ot 2.3.1 project and copy paste everything from the given provider wearable project into the created project and build it and take the .wgt generated and placed under the android app assets and test , I get an error in the gear manager saying failed to install the application.

Please HELP

Hello,

Make sure that you have correct package id and name in config.xml

Hi,

I think that you need to install wgt to Gear seperately from companion mode. you don't need to copy wgt under assets folder of provider. I would suggest you to vistit this link as well.
