How it possible - wgt files for Android devices? or IOS

Can someone tell us or give link about it?

For Gear applications for certain Tizen OS's, you can select devices in a combination of non-Samsung

mobile device and Gear device as well.

∙ In the [Detailed Device Settings] pop-up, the combination of a non-Samsung mobile device (Android OS

& iOS) and a Gear device will be displayed as 'Devices other than Samsung (Android)' and 'Devices

other than Samsung (iOS).' You can only select whether services will be provided or not. Even if you

select yes, services might not be available on certain mobile devices depending on their specs.

∙ For Standalone and Companion (Wearable) Gear applications, you can also select "Devices other than

Samsung (Android)" and "Devices other than Samsung (iOS)" as devices for sale.

Yes, but first you have to understand what is Standalone Wearable application and what is Companion Wearable application.

 

# Standalone Wearable app is a single application (package type: tpk/wgt) that runs on the tizen wearable as an individual entity. ( It has no relation with mobile, just a single app )

 

# Companion Wearable app is an application (package type: tpk/wgt) that runs on the tizen wearable, which is a companion of another application (Host application) residing in Android Mobile or iOS Mobile.

 

Here the Seller Office is asking Whether Your app is a stanalone app or a companion app of Android/iOS mobile app.

# As per my understanding '.tpk/.wgt' packages are for Tizen devices only. '.tpk/.wgt' doesn't run on iOS or android device.
