Open in browser: Tizen 2.3.1 on wearables via android

Hey guys,

Any possibility to open a URL in the default browser on the android host system?

I have a tizen 2.3.1 web application running on my gear s2 and I'd like to open a link from the app. 

Do I need a companion app for that?

Yes you need a companion app, which handles the request from the wearable. U can use as communication way SAP.

I do hope there will be some better integration with host systems in upcoming versions. Having a user to install two apps for such a trivial functionality is bogus. Especially since the gear app already has this functionality, it is just not accessible.
